Przepustowość sieci komputerowych
Przepustowość to maksymalna ilość informacji, która może być transmitowana w jednostce czasu poprzez kanał komunikacyjny. Jest ona mierzona w bitach na sekundę (b/s, bps, bits per second), czasami także w bajtach na sekundę (B/s lub Bps). Przy dużej przepustowości najczęściej stosowane są prefiksy, zarówno dziesiętne (np. k = 1000), jak i binarne (np. K = 1024).
